COMMUNITY OUTREACH:
Sparking Our Community’s Learning through Play
The Stellar Children’s Museum strives be to an integral part of the community by providing
educational and cultural activities that sparks children's discovery of their world through
interactive play and learning experiences.
The Museum partners with schools and community organizations to create educational
programs, provide educator-child or parent-child learning opportunities that impact children in
their early years .
We also encourage children's literacy development through hands-on, multi-sensory activities
that include dramatic play, storytelling, and playing with letters and sounds. Infographics and
learning resources also inspire adults with ideas and information on how to promote a love of
reading and build pre-literacy skills in young children.
Over the next five years, the Stellar Group will develop and install many more Children’s
Museums across the country with a diverse set of activities that promote learning across many
disciplines – from reading and math skills to architectural ideas and community living.
