Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers

At Stellar Children’s Museum, we focus a lot on early learning as we believe that a child’s early years lay the foundation for all that is to come. In recent years, researchers have learned that the human brain develops the vast majority of its neurons, and is at its most receptive to learning, between birth and three years of age.

At the Museum, the Crawler Fountain, the Bernoulli Table and the Dig Pit are calming spaces that serve as a central gathering point as visitors scurry from one gallery and into another. The youngest visitors can be found here investigating the sensory panels and other activities lining the walls of the fountain. The toddler/crawler area is also a one-stop spot for play dates and parenting resources.

Our youngest visitors can also experiment with color and play at the Create It zone and can sit down for an interesting story telling session with props and audio/visual at the theater.
